Get Folder Info (Google Drive) activity

An activity that gets information about a folder from Google Drive to store in process data variables.



Configure the Get Folder Info activity

To configure the Get Folder Info activity, do the procedure in this topic.

Good to Know

  • You must specify the folder or folder ID to get the information of the folder.
  • In most text fields, you can use process data variables as an alternative to literal data values.

How to Start

  1. On the Organizer, do one of these:
  2. Do one of these:
    • Add an activity:
      1. In the Process Builder, in the Activity Library, open the Google Drive tab.
      2. On the Google Drive tab, drag the Get Folder Info activity onto your process.
    • Change an activity:
      1. In your process, double-click your activity.

Procedure

  1. Complete the fields on the General Configuration screen.

  2. Click Get Folder Info .
  3. Complete the fields on the Get Folder in Google Drive Configuration screen.

  4. (Optional) Click Advanced > E-mail Notification .

Specifies the common information for a system activity.

Get Folder Configuration

Specifies information about a folder to get from Google Drive, and store in process data variables.

Function:
Specifies the access token that connects to your Google Drive application.
Accepted Values:
A list of access tokens configured for your environment.
Default Value:
None
Accepts Process Data Variables:
No

Add Token

Opens this Screen:
New Google Drive Access Token
Function of this Screen:
Configures a new access token for Google Drive.

Folder ID
Function:
Specifies the Google Drive folder. The activity uses the ID of the specified folder when the process runs.
Accepted Values:
  • Choose Folder ID - Specifies an absolute path for the folder.
  • Dynamic Folder ID - Specifies a process variable that stores the ID of folder.
Default Value:
None.
Accepts Process Data Variables:
Yes

Store the Response in Custom Attribute or Schema - Folder ID
Function:
Specifies the process data variable that stores the new folder ID.

Google Drive supplies the folder ID.

Accepted Values:
A process data variable.
Default Value:
None
Accepts Process Data Variables:
Yes

Store the Response in Custom Attribute or Schema - Folder Name
Function:
Specifies the process data variable that stores the name of the folder.
Accepted Values:
A process data variable.
Default Value:
None

Function:
Specifies the process data variable that stores the shared link of the folder.
Accepted Values:
A process data variable.
Default Value:
None

Accepted Values:
