Get File Info (OneDrive) activity

An activity that gets information about a file from OneDrive to store in process data variables.



Configure the Get File Info activity

To configure the Get File Info activity, do the procedure in this topic.

Good to Know

  • You must specify the file or file ID to get the information of the file.
  • In most text fields, you can use process data variables as an alternative to literal data values.

How to Start

  1. On the Organizer, do one of these:
  2. Do one of these:
    • Add an activity:
      1. In the Process Builder, in the Activity Library, open the OneDrive tab.
      2. On the OneDrive tab, drag the Get File Info activity onto your process.
    • Change an activity:
      1. In your process, double-click your activity.

Procedure

  1. Complete the fields on the General Configuration screen.

    For more information, refer to Configure General Options for a System Activity.

  2. Click GetFileInformation .
  3. Complete the fields on the Get File Information in OneDrive Configuration screen.

    For more information, refer to Get File Information in OneDrive.

  4. (Optional) Click Advanced > E-mail Notification .

    For more information, refer to Configure E-mail Notifications for Any Activity

General Configuration

Specifies the common information for a system activity.

One line of text that can have spaces.

Specifies an optional description for your activity.
Accepted Values:
More than one line of text.

Get File Information in OneDrive Configuration

Specifies information about a file to get from OneDrive and store in a process data variable.

Specifies the access token that connects to your OneDrive application.
Accepted Values:
A list of access tokens configured for your environment.
Default Value:
None
Accepts Process Data Variables:

Add Token

Opens this Screen:
New OneDrive Access Token
Function of this Screen:
Configures a new access token for Microsoft OneDrive.

File ID
Function:
Specifies the OneDrive file. The activity uses this file ID when the process runs.
Accepted Values:
  • Choose File Path - Specifies an absolute path for the file.
  • Dynamic File ID - Specifies a process variable that stores the ID of file.
Default Value:
Choose File Path
Accepts Process Data Variables:
No

Store the Response in Custom Attribute
Function:
Specifies the process data variable that stores the file ID.

The file ID comes from OneDrive.

Accepted Values:
A process data variable.
Default Value:
None
Accepts Process Data Variables:
Yes

Accepted Values:
