Invite User activity

An activity that sends an invitation to specified users to join your Yammer network.



Configure the Invite User activity

To configure the Invite User activity, do the procedure in this topic.

How to Start

  1. On the Organizer, do one of these:
  2. Do one of these:
    • Add an activity:
      1. In the Process Builder, in the Activity Library open the Yammer tab.
      2. On the Yammer tab, drag the Invite User activity onto your process.
    • Change an activity:
      1. In your process, double-click your activity.

Procedure

  1. Complete the fields on the General Configuration screen.

    For more information, refer to Configure General Options for a System Activity.

  2. Click Invite User .
  3. Configure Invite User to Yammer Configuration screen.

    For more information, refer to Invite a User to Yammer.

  4. (Optional) Click Advanced > E-mail Notification .

    For more information, refer to Configure E-mail Notifications for Any Activity

General Configuration

Specifies the common information for a system activity.



Fields

Function:
Specifies the activity name that shows in your process.
Accepted Values:
One line of text that can have spaces.
Default Value:
None
Accepts Process Data Variables:
No

Description
Function:
Specifies an optional description for your activity.
Accepted Values:
More than one line of text.
Default Value:
None
Accepts Process Data Variables:
No

Invite User to Yammer Configuration

Sends an invitation to the users to join your Yammer network.

Function:
Specifies the access token that connects to Yammer.
Accepted Values:
A list of access tokens configured for your environment.
Default Value:
None
Accepts Process Data Variables:
No

Add Token

Opens this Screen:
New Yammer Access Token
Function of this Screen:
Configures a new access token for Yammer.

Network Name
Function:
Specifies the name of your Yammer network.
Accepted Values:
Read only.

When you select the Yammer access token, the associated network name shows in the Network name field.

Default Value:
None

Enter your coworker's e-mail addresses separated by semi-colon (;)
Function:
Specifies the e-mail addresses for people you want to invite as Yammer users.
Accepted Values:
One or more valid e-mail addresses.

Separate e-mail addresses with a semicolon (;).

Default Value:
None
Accepts Process Data Variables:
Yes
