Delete Folder (Box) activity

An activity that deletes a folder from Box.

Configure the Delete Folder activity

To configure the Delete Folder activity, do the procedure in this topic.

Good to Know

In most text fields, you can use process data variables as an alternative to literal data values.
You must specify the folder or folder ID to delete a folder.

How to Start

On the Organizer, do one of these:
- Open a process.
- Create a process.
Do one of these:
- Add an activity:
  1. In the Process Builder, in the Activity Library, open the Box tab.
  2. On the Box tab, drag the Delete Folder activity onto your process.
- Change an activity:
  1. In your process, double-click your activity.

Procedure

Complete the fields on the General Configuration screen.

Click Delete Folder .
Complete the fields on the Delete Folder in Box Configuration screen.
For more information, refer to Delete a Folder in Box.
(Optional) Click Advanced > E-mail Notification .
For more information, refer to Configure E-mail Notifications for Any Activity

General Configuration

Specifies the common information for a system activity.

Fields

Field Name	Definition
Display Name	Function: Specifies the activity name that shows in your process. Accepted Values: One line of text that can have spaces. Default Value: None Accepts Process Data Variables: No
Description	Function: Specifies an optional description for your activity. Accepted Values: More than one line of text. Default Value: None Accepts Process Data Variables: No

Delete Folder in Box Configuration

Specifies a folder to delete from Box.

Fields

Field Name	Definition
Box	Function: Specifies the access token that connects to your Box application. Accepted Values: A list of access tokens configured for your environment. Default Value: None Accepts Process Data Variables: No
Add Token	Opens this Screen: New Box Access Token Function of this Screen: Configures a new access token for Box.
Folder ID	Function: Specifies the Box folder. The activity uses the ID of the specified folder when the process runs. Accepted Values: Choose Folder ID - Specifies an absolute path for the folder. Dynamic Folder ID - Specifies a process variable that stores the ID of folder. Default Value: None. Accepts Process Data Variables: Yes
