To send a message in Yammer to a specified user or a group, ​do the procedure in this topic.

How to Start

  1. On the Organizer, do one of these:
  2. Do one of these:
    • Add an activity:
      1. In the Process Builder, in the Activity Library open the Yammer tab.
      2. On the Yammer tab, drag the Post Message activity onto your process.
    • Change an activity:
      1. In your process, double-click your activity.
  3. Click Post Message .

Procedure

  1. On the Post Message to Yammer Configuration screen, in the Yammer field, select your Yammer access token.

    To create a new access token, click New Yammer Access Token.

    When you select the Yammer access token, the associated network name shows in the Network name field.

  2. Do one of these as necessary.
    • To send a message to one user, do this procedure.
      1. Click Send Private Message tab.
      2. Click Select Users and specify the users to send a message.
    • To send a message to a group, do this procedure.
      1. Click Post in a Group tab.
      2. In Group Name list, select the name of the group to send a message.
  3. Complete these fields as necessary.

    Specifies the location of the attachment file.
    Accepted Values:
    An absolute path and file name on the AgilePoint Server or SharePoint Server.

    Only one attachment is not supported.
