How to Start

  1. On the Organizer, do one of these:

    • Add an activity:
      1. In the Process Builder, in the Activity Library, open the NetSuite tab.
      2. On the NetSuite tab, drag the Add Note activity onto your process.
    • Change an activity:
      1. In your process, double-click your activity.
  3. Click Add Note .

Procedure

  1. On the Add Note Configuration screen, in the NetSuite field, select your NetSuite access token.

    To create a new access token, click Add Token . For more information, refer to New NetSuite Access Token.

  2. Complete these fields as necessary.
    Field Name Definition

    Note Title

    Function:
    Specifies your note title.
    Accepted Values:
    One line of text.
    Default Value:
    None
    Accepts Process Data Variables:
    Yes

    Parent Entity ID

    Function:
    Specifies the ID of entity connected to your note.
    Accepted Values:
    A valid entity ID.
    Default Value:
    None
    Accepts Process Data Variables:
    Yes

    Note Body

    Function:
    Specifies the content of your note.
    Accepted Values:
    More than one line of text.
    Default Value:
    None
    Accepts Process Data Variables:
    Yes

    Note Direction

    Function:
    Specifies whether the note is generated from an external source or generated from within the record.
    Accepted Values:
    • Incoming - The note is generated from an external source such as copied from an email.
    • Outgoing - The note is generated from within the record.
    Default Value:
    None
    Accepts Process Data Variables:
    No
  3. (Optional) To store the note ID as a process data variable, add the variable from the Process Variables screen to the field Store the Response Note ID in Custom Attribute or Schema.

    Specifies the variable that stores the note ID.
    Accepted Values:
    A process data variable.
    Default Value:
    None
