Prerequisites

Good to Know

  • You must specify the folder or folder ID to create a link to share the folder.
  • In most text fields, you can use process data variables as an alternative to literal data values.

How to Start

  1. On the Organizer, do one of these:

    • Add an activity:
      1. In the Process Builder, in the Activity Library, open the OneDrive tab.
      2. On the OneDrive tab, drag the Create Folder Shared Link activity onto your process.
    • Change an activity:
      1. In your process, double-click your activity.
  3. Click Create Shared Link Folder .

Procedure

  1. On the Create Shared Link for Folder in OneDrive Configuration screen, in the OneDrive field, select your OneDrive access token.

    To create a new access token, click Add Token . For more information, refer to New OneDrive Access Token.

  2. Complete this field as necessary.
    Field Name Definition

    Folder ID

    Function:
    Specifies the OneDrive folder. The activity uses the ID of the specified folder when the process runs.
    Accepted Values:
    • Choose Folder Path - Specifies an absolute path for the folder.
    • Dynamic Folder ID - Specifies a process variable that stores the ID of folder.
    Default Value:
    Choose Folder Path
  3. (Optional) To connect the response to a process data variable, complete this field as necessary.
    Field Name Definition

    Store the Response in Custom Attribute

    Function:
    Specifies the process data variable that stores the new folder ID.

    OneDrive supplies the folder ID.

    Accepted Values:
    A process data variable.
