How to Start

  1. On the Organizer, do one of these:

    • Add an activity:
      1. In the Process Builder, in the Activity Library, open the Google Drive tab.
      2. On the Google Drive tab, drag the Create Folder activity onto your process.
    • Change an activity:
      1. In your process, double-click your activity.
  3. Click Create Folder .

Procedure

  1. On the Create Folder in Google Drive Configuration screen, in the Google Drive field, select your Google Drive access token.

    To create a new access token, click New Google Drive Access Token.

  2. In the Folder Name field, enter a name for your folder.
  3. Complete this field as necessary.
    Field Name Definition

    Parent Folder ID

    Function:
    Specifies the parent folder. The activity uses the ID of the specified parent folder to create a subfolder when the process runs.
    Accepted Values:
    • Choose Folder ID - Specifies an absolute path for the folder.
    • Dynamic Folder ID - Specifies a process variable that stores the ID of the folder.
    Default Value:
    None.
    Accepts Process Data Variables:
    Yes
  4. (Optional) To connect the response to a process data variable, complete this field as necessary.

    Function:
    Specifies the process data variable that stores the new folder ID.

    Google Drive supplies the folder ID.

    Accepted Values:
    A process data variable.
